Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced Mainframe professional to support critical banking payment systems on mainframe platforms. The role focuses on ensuring stability, security, and uninterrupted service in 24/7 operations.

You will work on Credit, Debit, and Prepaid card processing systems, quickly resolving production issues, performing RCA, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve resiliency and automation.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years’ experience in Mainframe to support banking applications related to Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Prepaid Cards.
• Strong knowledge of CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM and COBOL.
• Experience in automation and data monitoring to improve system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Work on Credit, Debit, and Prepaid card processing systems.
• Quickly resolve production issues and perform thorough root cause analysis (RCA).
• Enhance system stability and reduce recurring incidents.
• Participate in system resiliency and disaster recovery (DR) activities.
• Automate manual processes wherever possible.

• Will be working in 24/7 Rotational Shifts.

About The Role

• Proficiency in data monitoring tools
• Knowledge of high availability and system resiliency concepts
• Ability to handle critical production incidents independently
