Job summary

Ideal candidates will hold an ITI or Diploma in Machinist, Tool & Die Making, or Mechanical Engineering, with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in tool room machining, tooling, materials, and tolerances; strong GD&T and measurement skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

• Manufacturing and repair tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and machine parts.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
• Inspect components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality requirements.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures.

Job Purpose

Operate and set up conventional and CNC tool room machines to manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and precision components.

Key Responsibilities
