Job summary

Intervalve Poonawalla is seeking a skilled CNC VTL operator to set up and prepare turning lathes for production according to blueprints. You will load materials, secure workpieces, and program CNC controls using G-code to control speed and feed.

The role involves monitoring operations, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaboration with supervisors and team members is essential to meet production goals and deadlines, with documentation

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare CNC Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) for operation according to production schedules and engineering blueprints.
• Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly to ensure accurate machining.
• Program CNC controls using G-code and M Coe to regulate speed, feed, and other parameters as necessary.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adjust as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to keep them in good working condition.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, tools, or products as they arise.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain all required document related to Machine and machining.
