Job summary

Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Turning operator to run turning machines and ensure precise components for aerospace and related sectors. You will read blueprints, set tooling, perform inspections with appropriate instruments, and maintain documentation.

The role requires troubleshooting capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment across all three shifts. Basic 5S understanding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC turning machines.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Working knowledge of inspection methods and measuring instruments.
• Ability to set critical components for aerospace, aerospace toolings, oil & Gas, Nuclear Projects etc.
• Knowledge of turning, taper turning, thread cutting, canned cycles, drilling, grooving.
• Knowledge of cutting tools (turning insert, boring insert, grooving insert, threading insert).
• Basic understanding of blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on machines.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Basic understanding of 5S.
• Ability to maintain accurate production records, including tracking materials and reporting issues.
• Troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions and tooling problems.
• Ability to work in all 3 shifts.
