Job summary

RECEX Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Machine Programmer with a strong mechanical engineering background to develop, modify, and optimize machine programs for manufacturing operations.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with CNC/NC machines, machining processes, and technical drawings. The role requires 2-5 years of CNC programming/machining experience, comfort working with production teams, and knowledge of G-code/M-code, CAD/CAM tools, and various CNC controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of CNC programming/machining experience.
• Experience with automotive, engineering, precision machining or manufacturing sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and optimize machine programs for production requirements.
• Develop CNC/NC programs from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read mechanical drawings, GD&T, and technical specs to ensure accuracy.
• Select cutting tools, tooling, and machining parameters for processes.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve machining issues.
• Optimize cycle time, machine utilization, and overall efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot programming and machining problems.
• Support new product development, tooling, and process improvements.
• Maintain and update machine programs, process sheets, and docs.
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, machining parameters, and tooling.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve machining‑related issues.
• Optimize cycle time, machine utilization, and production efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot programming and machining problems.
• Support new product development, tooling, and process improvement activities.
• Ensure programs meet required quality and dimensional standards.
• Maintain and update machine programs, process sheets, and technical documentation.
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CNC/NC machine programming and machining processes.
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, tooling, and machining parameters.
• Experience with G-code/M-code.
• Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of production and quality processes.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in CNC programming/machining.
• Candidates from automotive, engineering, precision machining, or manufacturing industries preferred.
• Should be comfortable working closely with production and shop‑floor teams.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
