Job summary

Moksh CAD in India is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our programming team. You will create and optimize CNC programs for multiple machines, interpreting drawings and CAD models to determine machining requirements.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of CNC programming experience, strong knowledge of G-code and M-code, and proficiency with Alphacam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. A mechanical engineering background (B.Tech Mech) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with B.Tech Mech preferred.
• 1–3 years CNC programming experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CAM software such as Alphacam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for CNC machine operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with materials like metal, wood, stone, aluminum, steel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and test CNC programs for a variety of machines (e.g., sawjet, CNC polisher, mills, lathes).
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.
• Optimize existing programs for efficiency, accuracy, and cycle time reduction.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and refine processes.
• Perform first-article inspections and support production with technical expertise.
• Maintain documentation and program archives.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
