Job PurposeMust have

• Candidates must be ready to operate machines regardless of their current designation. In our organization, everyone from Assistant Engineer to Associate Engineer is expected to work hands‑on with machines, not just supervise operations.

Machine Operation:

• Set up and adjust machinery according to production specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Start and operate machines, monitoring performance, and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Load and unload raw materials onto machines as required.
• Perform routine quality checks on products during production, identifying and reporting any defects.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Conduct basic maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on assigned machines
• Identify and report machine malfunctions to supervisors, taking appropriate actions to minimize downtime
• Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve operational issues when possible

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Record Keeping:

• Maintain production logs and records, including machine parameters, production volumes, and quality checks
• Document any issues or discrepancies encountered during production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical principles and how to operate various types of production machinery
• Quality Control: Ability to visually inspect products and identify defects based on quality standards
• Attention to Detail: High level of focus and precision required for consistent quality output
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move materials as needed
• Basic Literacy: Ability to read and understand operating instructions and safety guidelines in English language.
• Basic Knowledge: 7 Qc tools, TPM , Kaizen, Why-Why Analysis, Quality Circle, 5S & OEE methodology , SAP and Understanding of component drawing.
• Minimum Education: Diploma ( Mech/Auto) with Minimum 3 Years of experience.

Competency:-

• Machine Operation & Setup : Expertise in preparing, calibrating, setup change and running specific machinery according to specific caliber. Performing routine maintenance (cleaning, lubricating) and diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Precision Measurement : Mastery of tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify that finished products meet tight tolerances.
• Safety Focus: Strict adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA standards and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Problem-Solving : The capacity to think critically and act quickly when unexpected equipment malfunctions occur.
