Job summary

Woven Talent invites applications for a senior manufacturing role in Gwalior District, Madhya Pradesh. The candidate will lead production execution, ensure on-time delivery by coordinating work orders and material flow, and drive continuous improvement in OEE, FPY, and DPU.

The position requires hands-on CNC machining of heavy and precision parts and strong TPM/Lean knowledge. Must have BE or Diploma in Mechanical with at least 15 years of related experience and exposure to 5-axis CNC machines,

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical is mandatory.
• Minimum of 15 years related experience is required.
• Hands on experience to operate 5 axis CNC machines.
• Knowledge of heavy & precision parts machining.

Responsibilities

• Meeting production targets as per business plan.
• Coordinate work order and material flow within manufacturing area, assign and position resources based on work order demand and priorities
• All aspects related to the execution of the manufacturing schedule including coordinating material, communication with other departments, ensuring maintenance and housekeeping issues are addressed
• Jobs setting & machining of critical parts as per drawing & documents with zero deviations.
• Sustain and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), DPU (Defects Per Unit), FPY (First Pass Yield)
• Responsible for TPM. Active participation in Kaizens, 5S and Process improvement.
• Tool crib management.
• Daily, weekly and monthly production reporting and MIS
• Control over Rejection and Rework
• Accurate completion of quality checklists and production paperwork

Preferred candidate profile

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must:

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical

Desirable

• Six Sigma Certified
• Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, Quality Systems/ TPM/ Lean/ CNC Programming/ Process documentation as per ISO 9001:2008.

Relevant EXPERIENCE:

Must:

• Minimum of 15 years related experience.
• Hands on experience to operate 5 axis CNC machines
• Knowledge of heavy & precision parts machining

Desirable:

• Working Experience in Defence Sector.
