The role requires deep knowledge of CNC programming across Fanuc, Sinumeric, Fagor and Heidenhain, and a strong track record in improving throughput.

Qualifications

• B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with manufacturing experience.
• 8+ years in a manufacturing environment with CNC machining.
• Experience with Fanuc, Sinumeric, Fagor and Heidenhain controls.
• Exposure to Valve industry would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain live production orders and schedules to meet delivery dates.
• Engage workload to Conventional, CNC Turning & Milling machines with priority.
• Adhere to routings and manufacturing processes on a daily basis.
• Assign daily tasks to CNC machinists and operators to meet deadlines.
• Ensure machine shop efficiency >90% and document 3C analyses daily.
• Close NCRs on time and implement preventive actions with root-cause analysis.
• Manage worker schedules, shifts and overtime limits.
• Troubleshoot machine and quality issues with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Maintenance to improve processes.
• Maintain 5S standards and ensure HSE compliance.

Job Description

The Company has embarked on a high growth path in India with a strong focus on ramping up the manufacturing

operations in the coming years. We are looking for a candidate with a very good knowledge of CNC programming in

various control systems like Fanuc, Sinumeric, Fagor and Heidenhain and also good experience in Valve industry

would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned from time to time according to the exigency of situation.

• Maintain list of live production orders and make schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to meet customer deliveries.
• Able to engage workload to Conventional, CNC Turning & Milling machines in machine shop based on Priority / Well versed in programming and operation of a wide range of CNC Turning and Milling controllers like Fanuc, Sinumeric, Fagor and Heidenhain / conventional machines
• Adhere to Manufacturing process sequence defined in routings and must ensure on daily basis
• Assign daily tasks to CNC machinists and operators, make sure we meet delivery deadlines
• Machine shop efficiency must be achieved >90% and in case of any failures proper 3C analysis reports must be submitted on daily basis
• On time closure of open NCR’s, finding and fixing real root cause and developing corrective and preventive actions and ensuring those are working
• Manage worker schedules, shifts and overtime limits.
• Troubleshooting machine and quality related issues
• Should work with Manufacturing team to make process improvements and develop process control procedures
• Should work with maintenance to ensure all machines are operational
• Should work with all departments to resolve manufacturing issues
• Resolves worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Production Manager for action
• Ensure machine shop is maintained with good 5S standards
• Ensure self and operators are meeting HSE standards defined by organisation

Requirements

B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing industry having

various types of CNC with various control systems such as, Fanuc, Sinumeric, Fagor and Heidenhain /conventional machines

Skill Requirements

• The ability to give clear instruction to subordinates and control them
• Highly motivated, persistent and self-starter with demonstrated skills in machining
• Educate operators as multi-Skill technician and plan for the same
• Sound knowledge of machine shop administration
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Outlook)
