Job summary

We are seeking skilled Machine Operators to operate automatic filling, packing, and processing equipment at Absolut Pet Production Facility. You will manage filling quantities, machine speed, temperature, and timing while ensuring product quality and safety.

The role requires hands-on experience with industrial production machines, the ability to multitask, and adherence to SOPs, GMP, hygiene, and safety standards in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in a technical discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience with industrial filling/packing equipment.
• Familiarity with GMP, safety, and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Automatic Filling & Packing Machines.
• Operate Blister Packing Machines and Retort Machines as required.
• Set machine parameters and perform start-up/shutdown/changeovers.
• Maintain production records and monitor quality throughout shifts.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for major breakdowns and ensure safety compliance.

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and responsible Machine Operators to operate and manage automatic filling, packing, and processing equipment. The selected candidates will be responsible for operating machines efficiently, maintaining product quality, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth production operations.

The operator should have hands‑on experience with industrial production machines and be capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining safety, hygiene, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Automatic Filling & Packing Machines.
• Operate and monitor Blister Packing Machines.
• Operate and monitor Retort Machines as per approved production parameters.
• Operate Paste Filling Machines and ensure accurate filling quantity.
• Set machine parameters such as filling quantity, speed, temperature, pressure, timing, and other required settings.
• Perform machine start-up, shutdown, changeover, and basic adjustments.
• Check machine performance continuously during production.
• Ensure correct filling, sealing, packing, and product appearance.
• Monitor product weight/quantity and maintain required production specifications.
• Identify machine abnormalities, breakdowns, leakage, improper sealing, under‑filling, over‑filling, and other production issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with the maintenance team for major breakdowns.
• Maintain proper production records, machine logs, and batch‑wise documentation.
• Follow production schedules and complete assigned production targets.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, hygiene, safety, and quality requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and the surrounding production area.
• Ensure proper handling of materials and finished products.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams.
• Support machine changeovers and product changeovers whenever required.
• Handle multiple production activities and respond effectively during complicated production situations.
• Report any quality, safety, or machine‑related issues to the supervisor immediately.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of automatic filling and packing machines.
• Knowledge of blister packing machines.
• Knowledge of retort processing machines.
• Knowledge of paste/liquid filling machines.
• Basic understanding of machine settings, sensors, timers, temperature, pressure, and filling parameters.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and production instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge for production entries and machine‑related records.
• Good understanding of workplace hygiene and safety.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Good observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks during production.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• 24 years of relevant experience in machine operation, filling, packing, food, pharmaceutical, FMCG, pet food, or similar manufacturing industries.
