Job summary

Gearspect India is seeking a skilled technician to operate and run gear cutting machines, perform trials, and meet customer requirements. The role involves setting up machines, tooling, fixtures, and workpieces, and understanding CNC/control systems used in gear cutting equipment.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with gear cutting machines, be capable of machine setup and troubleshooting, and possess knowledge of gear terminology and cutting parameters to ensure quality during

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong practical knowledge of gear cutting machine technology and operations.
• Hands-on experience operating CNC/gear cutting machines.
• Knowledge of gear manufacturing processes such as hobbing, shaping, skiving or related gear cutting processes will be an advantage.
• Understanding of cutting tools, work holding, fixtures and cutting parameters.
• Ability to perform machine setup, prove-out and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of gear terminology, gear geometry and machining requirements.
