Job summary

Tata Cummins Private Limited in Maharashtra is seeking an experienced Logistics Planning professional to manage daily operations across warehousing, transportation, and SCM planning. You will ensure internal and external customer expectations are met and drive continuous improvements.

With 7–10 years in logistics and experience leading 20–30 personnel, you will optimize planning signals, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders while leveraging ERP systems and automation

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in Logistics, Warehousing, SCM planning, OSP, cycle counting.
• Led teams of 20–30 people and managed in-plant SCM operations.
• Knowledge of ERP and warehouse automation and safety is required.

Job description

To plan and maintain daily operations in one or more logistics functions (such as transportation and warehousing)
Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop planning system strategies to improve signals to the supply chain


• Monitor and adjust parameters in the planning system.


• Use common processes tools, and information systems.


• Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans.


• Execute the daily operational logistics processes


• Identify potential supply chain failures and mitigate associated risks


• Work closely with stakeholders - internal and/or external to develop short term tactical improvements.


• Use the logistics system to drive consistent planning signals across the supply chain


• Participate in functional process improvement teams

Qualifications

The candidate should have experience of around 7-10 years of experience in the field of Logistics, Warehousing, SCM planning, OSP, cycle counting and have led the team size of 20-30 people and should have the technical understanding of in plant SCM operations and should have knowledge of working with ERP.

The person should have knowledge of Warehousing Safety and warehouse automation.

Qualification should be Graduate in any stream or Diploma in engineering
