Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced, disciplined, and proactive Logistics Manager with over 15 years of hands-on experience to oversee our end-to-end supply chain, warehouse operations, and fleet management.

The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in heavy goods/hardware dispatch, route optimization, inventory accuracy, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet & Dispatch Operations: Manage daily dispatch schedules, local and regional delivery routes, vehicle load optimization, and driver coordination for heavy materials (pipes & fittings).
• Warehouse Management: Oversee inbound/outbound stock, ensure safe material handling, and maintain accurate inventory counts using software/register systems.
• Cost & Route Optimization: Minimize turnaround time (TAT), optimize freight costs, and ensure zero transit damage or delivery delays.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage warehouse labor, drivers, and dispatch executives to ensure high productivity and discipline.
• Vendor & Transporter Management: Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transporters, and local freight vendors for best rates and reliable service.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with local transport rules, e-way bills, vehicle maintenance schedules, and warehouse safety norms.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years in logistics, warehouse, or transport management (preferably in heavy goods, plumbing, hardware, steel, or building materials).
• Logistics Expertise: Strong knowledge of local transport routes in Indore and surrounding regional areas across Madhya Pradesh.
• Inventory Control: Proficiency in inventory reconciliation, physical audit checks, and basic computer/ERP skills for dispatch logging.
• Problem Solving: Proven ability to handle breakdown emergencies, tight delivery deadlines, and labor management.
