Job summary

FootPath, Inc. in India is seeking a Logistics Incharge to oversee end-to-end transportation, movement of materials, and documentation, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

The role requires 5 years in logistics, knowledge of regulatory rules, and coordination with transporters, drivers, and customers to ensure uninterrupted flow of waste and materials.

This onsite position expects candidates with a graduate degree and hands-on experience with GPS tracking and logistics software.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline; logistics qualification preferred.
• 5 years of experience in logistics operations, hazardous waste or industrial sectors.
• Good knowledge of transportation rules and documentation.
• Experience handling fleets and transport vendors.
• MS Office and logistics tracking systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily logistics operations including vehicle scheduling, route planning, and dispatch.
• Maintain complete logistics documentation including manifests, GPS tracking records, e-way bills, weighbridge slips, and transport challans.
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, plant operations, and customers for smooth material movement.
• Ensure all vehicles are GPS-enabled, compliant with pollution norms, and have valid permits and insurance.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, turnaround time, fuel consumption, and logistics costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during loading, unloading, and transportation.
• Handle emergency situations such as vehicle breakdowns, spills, or delays during transit.
• Coordinate with government departments for inspections, audits, and compliance related to logistics.
• Maintain records for internal audits, statutory reporting, and management review.
• Support plant operations to ensure uninterrupted movement of waste and materials.

About the Role

• 5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in hazardous waste, chemical, oil, or industrial sectors.
• Good knowledge of transportation rules and documentation.
• Experience handling fleets, transport vendors, and regulatory compliance.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and logistics tracking systems.
• Salary Upto 3.5LPA+Accomadation (for Individual)+All other benefits as per law & company policy.
