Job summary

Vertiv Co seeks a proactive Export Logistics Coordinator to streamline global shipments from production to destination, ensuring compliance and timely delivery. You will manage planning, documentation, and coordination with freight forwarders, ports, and inspection agencies.

The role requires strong Excel skills and the ability to develop MIS dashboards (Power BI) for export operations, with close attention to cost, schedules, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
• Compliance with Customs, DGFT, FEMA and Foreign Trade Policy is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Sales, Warehouse, Finance and CHA/Freight Forwarder for export shipments.
• Prepare and monitor the export shipment plan based on customer requirements, Ready Date and shipping schedule.
• Coordinate vehicle/container placement and factory/port stuffing.
• Track material readiness against the confirmed Ready Date.
• Follow up with Production for delays, partial readiness and last-minute changes.
• Coordinate with Freight Forwarders for pickup, booking, container availability and vessel connections.
• Monitor shipment movement from plant to port and port to destination.
• Coordinate with Third party Inspection agency for Inspection scheduling and certification.
• DG declaration
• Documentation and monitor Export Incentive.
• Shipping bill checklist approval for filing.
• Track vessel schedules, ETD/ETA and transshipment details.
• Escalate shipment delays, port congestion, container shortages and other operational issues.
• Monitor detention, demurrage, waiting charges and other logistics costs.
• Developing and maintaining Export Logistics MIS and Power BI dashboards.

• Coordinate vehicle/container placement and factory/port stuffing.
• Track material readiness against the confirmed RD.
• Follow up with Production for delays, partial readiness and last-minute changes.
• Coordinate with Freight Forwarders for pickup, booking, container availability and vessel connections.
• Monitor shipment movement from plant to port and port to destination.

• Support preparation of documents for FTA/Preferential Certificate of Origin & coordination.
• Maintain supporting documents for origin qualification and costing.
• Monitor export incentive documentation and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Support EDPMS closure/regularization and bank documentation.
• Maintain proper records for audit and statutory requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of required documents to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
