Job summary

Valmet is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage the end-to-end transportation of import and export shipments, ensuring they reach the correct locations within required timeframes.

You will handle customs clearance in accordance with country-specific laws and regulations, document preparation, and risk management. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams and continuous monitoring of international developments.

Qualifications

• Logistics or commercial education or related field.
• Experience from transport booking services.
• Knowledge of customs legislation (e.g., inward processing, Intrastat statistics).
• Familiarity with international delivery terms (INCOTERMS).
• Letter of Credit is seen as an advantage for the position.
• Proficiency in IT systems.
• Language skills: English is essential; other languages are considered an advantage.

Job description

• Understanding of dangerous goods regulations
• Experience from ATA-carnet handling for temporary exports
• 5-7 years of experience in the relevant field.
