Valmet in Pune, India, invites a proactive Demand and Supply Planner to join a global planning environment. You will lead S&OP activities, balancing demand and supply across engineering, manufacturing and logistics to optimize capacity, cost, and delivery performance.

You will turn data into actionable plans, develop demand forecasts, create production scenarios, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and customer value in an international setting.

Formación

• Experience in S&OP in industrial machinery or ETO projects.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning tools.
• Experience supporting sales phase planning including cost, capacity, and scenario analyses.
• Understand capacity and resource planning across engineering and production.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Engineering background is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Create and manage sales schedules during the sales phase, balancing demand with production, procurement, engineering, logistics, and capacity.

Join a dynamic Sales and Operations Planning function where you lead demand and supply planning for the Tissue Business. You work at the sales, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to balance capacity, cost, and delivery performance. Your Responsibilities

• You prepare and maintain manufacturing demand forecasts usinginputsfrom capital and service sales.
• You create and manage sales schedules during the sales phase, balancing demand with production, procurement, engineering, logistics, and capacity.
• You assess manufacturability and review material requirements together with manufacturing teams.
• You build production and capacity scenarios, including cost and financial impact, based on forecasts.
• You analyze risks,identifybottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams tooptimizedelivery plans and performance.

What We Expect From You

• You have experience in S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning) in industrial machinery, or project‑based (ETO) environments.
• You bring strong analytical skills and you have proficiency in planning and analysis tools (e.g., Workflow automation solutions, Power BI).
• You have experience supporting sales phase planning, including cost, capacity, and scenario analyses.
• You understand capacity and resource planning across engineering and production.
• You communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
• Engineering background is considered as an advantage.
