Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Location Manager for Gold Loans in Rajasthan to drive expansion, optimize distribution channels, and ensure excellent customer service. The role requires hands-on leadership to achieve productivity and AUM growth while aligning with regulatory requirements.

You will recruit and mentor a team of gold loan officers and managers, collaborate with product teams for funding solutions, and ensure timely renewals.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline.
• Post-graduation MBA or PGDM.

Responsibilities

• Identify branches and locations for gold loan expansion based on market surveys.
• Expand distribution by leveraging branch banking and alternative channels.
• Deliver best-in-class service to minimize disbursal and renewal TAT.
• Achieve productivity targets of 40–50 lacs per month in new business and 80% generation on eligible customers.
• Recruit gold loan officers, territory managers and area sales heads for branches.
• Grow AUM to meet revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets.
• Collaborate with Product team to offer funding solutions and incentives.
• Ensure timely renewal of gold loan customers.
• Maintain relationships with valuers and agencies.
• Train officers on fraud prevention.
• Drive cross-sell and PSL targets for self and team.
• Ensure compliance and regulatory framework adherence.
• Report to ASM/State Head – Gold loans.

Job Purpose

The role entails scaling up the business and distribution of Gold Loan lending for a designated area by delivering banking needs to customers in the most cost efficient and technology effective manner. The role will closely collaborate with the Retail Operations, Retail Liability and IT teams. This role is responsible for providing a seamless and fulfilling customer experience, ensuring IDFC First becomes the primary bank for all banking needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identification of branches and potential locations for gold loan business based on market survey, competition mapping with NBFCs and banks, and the volume generated by them.
• Increasing the distribution channel by identifying various channels for gold loan along with branch banking.
• Providing best‑in‑class service to customers by minimizing disbursal and closure TAT so that they are willing to take gold loan again.
• Achieving GLO productivity of at least 40‑50 lacs per month on new business and 80% generation on eligible customers.
• Recruiting dedicated manpower for gold loans such as gold loan officers, territory managers and area sales heads in branches for customer acquisition.
• Growing the AUM as per target defined and ensuring overall revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets are met.
• Collaborating with the Product team to offer customers the best‑in‑class solutions for funding/multifunding requirements and ensuring key DSTs are appropriately incentivized.
• Ensuring timely renewal of gold loan customers to prevent loss to the bank.
• Keeping a close tab on valuers and ensuring valuer and agency swaps on a time‑to‑time basis.
• Maintaining a close relationship with valuer and valuation agencies.
• Training gold loan officers on potential fraud and fraud prevention.
• Ensuring cross‑sell and PSL targets are achieved for self and team.
• Ensuring successful adoption of internal compliance and regulatory framework across the business.
• Reporting to ASM/State Head – Gold loans.

Experience
