Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Location Manager - Gold loans to scale up gold loan business across designated regions. You will identify branches, build distribution channels, and ensure superior customer experience while meeting productivity targets.

You will lead a team of gold loan officers and territory/area sales heads, collaborate with product and IT teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory norms. Prior experience in gold loan or secured lending is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any field.
• MBA or PGDM.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify branches and locations for gold loan business via market surveys.
• Expand distribution channels for gold loan through branches and other channels.
• Provide best-in-class service by minimizing disbursal and closure TAT.
• Achieve GLO productivity of 40–50 Lacs per month on new business and 80% generals on eligible customers.
• Recruit dedicated manpower: gold loan officers, territory managers, area sales heads.
• Grow AUM per targets; ensure revenue, cost, profitability and portfolio quality targets are met.
• Collaborate with Product to offer funding solutions; incentivize DSTs.
• Ensure renewals and retention of gold loan customers.
• Monitor valuers/agencies; swap timely.
• Maintain relationships with valuers and valuation agencies.
• Train gold loan officers on potential fraud.
• Cross-sell targets and PSL targets.
• Ensure internal compliance and regulatory framework adoption.
• Report to ASM/State Head- Gold loans.

Job Purpose

The role entails scaling up the business & distribution of Gold Loan lending for a designated area by delivering banking needs to the customers in the most cost efficient and technology effective manner. Role will closely collaborate with Retail team -Operations, Retail Liability team & IT, for same. This role encapsulates the responsibility of providing a seamless and fulfilling customer experience and ensuring IDFC First becomes the primary bank for all banking needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identification of branches and potential location for gold loan business basis market survey, competition mapping with NBFC's and Banks and the volume generated by them.
• Increasing the distribution channel by identifying various channels for gold loan along with branch banking.
• Ensure we give best in class service to the Customers by Minimize the disbursal TAT and Closure TAT so that he can be converted and be willing to take gold loan again from us.
• Ensure GLO productivity of Minium 40- 50 lacs per month on new business and 80% generals to be done on eligible customers.
• Recruiting dedicated manpower for gold loans i.e., gold loan officers/Territory managers/ Area Sales heads in branches for customer acquisition.
• Grow the AUM as per target defined and ensure that the overall revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets are met.
• Collaborate with the Product team to ensure that the customers are offered the best-in-class solutions funding/multifunding requirements and key DSTs are appropriately incentivized.
• Ensuring renewals of gold loan customers are done on a timely basis and bank doesn’t losses these set of customers.
• Keep a close tab on Valuers and ensure that valuer's /Agencies are swapped on a time-to-time basis.
• Ensure close relationship with valuer and Valuation agencies.
• Training to gold loan officers on potential fraud and fraud Ornaments.
• Ensure Cross sell targets & PSL targets are archived for self and team.
• Ensure the successful adoption of internal compliances & regulatory framework across the business.
• This role will report to ASM/State Head- Gold loans.
