Job summary

Kissht is seeking a detail-oriented legal professional to support our litigation management, LAP recovery and arbitration functions. You will coordinate end-to-end matters, draft notices and pleadings, and maintain robust MIS and reporting systems.

The role requires strong drafting, familiarity with arbitration and LAP proceedings, and advanced Excel/Word skills to track case status, prepare dashboards, and share actionable insights with management.

Qualifications

• LLB is mandatory; LLM is an added advantage.
• 7–10 years+ of experience in litigation management, arbitration, or related financial-services setups.
• Prior LAP litigation, recovery, and enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Litigation Management & Coordination: Track case status, hearing dates, and follow-ups; coordinate LAP-related litigation and enforcement proceedings; manage arbitration matters and external counsel liaison; maintain litigation documents repository; assist in strategy discussions.
• Legal Drafting: Draft and review notices, affidavits, applications, and basic pleadings; draft/review arbitration notices and submissions; standardize templates and ensure consistency with internal policies.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare and maintain litigation MIS dashboards; track performance metrics and generate periodic reports; develop automated trackers using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards); present data insights to management.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain audit trail of all litigation/arbitration cases; share information with stakeholders; support audits.

Legal Collection We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive legal professional to support our litigation management, arbitration, and LAP litigation functions. The role involves end-to-end coordination and management of legal matters, including LAP recovery and enforcement litigation, arbitration proceedings, drafting and reviewing legal documents, liaising with panel advocates, and maintaining robust MIS and reporting systems. The ideal candidate should have strong legal drafting and litigation management skills, a good understanding of arbitration and LAP-related legal proceedings, and advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Litigation Management & Coordination:

• Track case status, hearing dates, and ensure timely updates and follow-ups.
• Manage and coordinate LAP-related litigation matters, including recovery and enforcement proceedings.
• Coordinate arbitration matters, including notices, filings, hearings, documentation, and follow-ups with external counsel/arbitrators.
• Maintain repository of all litigation-related documents and case files.
• Assist in strategy discussions and ensure execution of action points.

2. Legal Drafting:

• Draft and review legal notices, replies to legal notices, affidavits, applications, and basic pleadings.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing arbitration-related notices, applications, replies, and submissions.
• Draft/review documentation related to LAP litigation and recovery matters.
• Standardize templates and maintain a drafting database.
• Ensure consistency, legal accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.

3. MIS & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain litigation MIS dashboards.
• Track recovery/legal performance metrics, including LAP litigation and arbitration matters, and generate periodic reports.
• Develop automated trackers using advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
• Present data insights to management in a structured and actionable format.

4. Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain proper documentation and audit trail of all litigation and arbitration cases.
• Ensure timely sharing of information with internal stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audits relating to legal matters.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong legal drafting and comprehension skills.
• Good understanding of litigation, arbitration, and recovery proceedings.
• Hands-on experience in LAP litigation, recovery, and enforcement matters.
• Knowledge of arbitration proceedings, notices, filings, hearings, and related documentation.
• Good understanding of the litigation lifecycle, court procedures, and legal recovery processes.
