Job summary

Adani Capital is seeking a Linux systems professional to manage and maintain Linux infrastructure, administer servers, monitor performance, and support incidents.

The role requires a bachelor or master in CS/CE/IT/IS, RHCSA/CCNA/VCP certifications, and 1–12 years of hands-on Linux experience across data centers, with scripting and ITIL familiarity. You will collaborate with IT teams to improve security and automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master degree in computer science or computer engineering or information technology or information systems.
  • RHCSA / CCNA / VCP certifications preferred.
  • 1–6 years or 8–12 years of hands-on Linux systems experience.
  • Understanding of Linux OS (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and maintaining Linux infrastructure.
  • Support Linux server administration to ensure availability, performance, and security.
  • Monitor system performance and availability; perform regular maintenance for Linux environments.
  • Respond to Linux incidents and service requests; escalate for timely resolution.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting; generate health and performance reports.
  • Implement security policies and best practices; ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with network engineers and IT teams to ensure integrated Linux operations.
  • Assist in change management for Linux environments, including testing and documentation.
  • Promote digital mindset; stay updated on digital and AI advances to boost competitiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Linux Infrastructure Management: Assist in managing and maintaining Linux infrastructure.
  • Linux Server Administration: Support the administration of Linux servers, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance and availability, performing regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of Linux environments.
  • Incident and Service Request Support: Provide support for Linux-related incidents and service requests, escalating issues as needed for timely resolution.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Generate reports on system performance and health metrics.
  • Security Compliance and Best Practices: Implement and adhere to security policies, procedures, and best practices for Linux environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work collaboratively with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure integrated and efficient operations of Linux systems.
  • Change Management in Linux Environments: Assist in managing changes to Linux environments through rigorous testing, coordination, and documentation to minimize risks and disruptions.
  • Digital mindset: Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor or master degree in computer science or computer engineering or information technology or information systems.
Preferred
  • Certification(s): RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) / CCNA / VCP
  • Experience: 1-6 8-12 yrs years of hands-on experience in supporting Linux systems within a data center or IT infrastructure setting.
  • Understanding of Linux operating systems (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.) & knowledge of scripting language (Bash, PowerShell) for automation & task execution.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
