Job summary

OPT IT in Bengaluru seeks a Linux L1+ Engineer to provide first-level infrastructure support, monitor Linux systems, and troubleshoot user and server issues.

You will handle server health, backups, access control, and basic scripting, escalate complex incidents to L2/L3, and maintain documentation and SOPs. RHCSA is an advantage; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with RHEL, CentOS/Rocky Linux, or Ubuntu
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, storage, filesystems, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with monitoring, backup, patching, and ITSM/ticketing tools
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• RHCSA is an advantage

Educational Qualifications
