Job summary

Inspirisys in Bengaluru is looking for an L1 Linux Engineer to monitor and support Linux/RHEL servers, handle basic troubleshooting, and manage user accounts and ACLs. You will assist with server patching, security updates, and perform basic tasks using Ansible while supporting services like SSH, DNS, NFS, Apache and Nginx.

This role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as L1 engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/RHEL and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with server monitoring and data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support Linux/RHEL servers and resolve basic alerts.
• Handle user accounts, passwords, permissions, and ACLs.
• Assist with server patching and security updates.
• Perform basic tasks using Ansible.
• Support SSH, DNS, NFS, Apache and Nginx services.
• Monitor backup jobs and escalate failures.
• Maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
• Support Data Center, Wintel, Storage and Backup activities.
