Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking a software engineer with strong C/C++ on Linux to join our engineering team. You will work on multimedia tools and Linux-based media players, contribute to robust code, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires hands-on experience with GStreamer, FFmpeg, and modern Git-based workflows, as well as solid debugging and problem-solving abilities to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with C and C++ programming using Linux toolchains.
• Working experience in development on tools like gstreamer, ffmpeg is a big plus.
• Experience in multi-media players on Linux is a big plus.
• Experience with source code control systems, with knowledge of git and gerrit being a strong plus.
• Ability to write high quality code and keep attention to details
• Experience with software development and life time processes
• Excellent analytical, debugging and trouble-shooting skills
• Effective organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
