Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a skilled software engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable solutions using C#, .NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies in Bengaluru. You will translate requirements into robust designs and implement maintainable, high-quality applications following best practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive architecture decisions, and ensure performance, security, and reliability across services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Proficient in designing scalable software using REST APIs and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable and high-quality software solutions using C#, .NET/.NET Core and related Microsoft technologies.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust technical designs and implementation plans.
• Design and develop modular, maintainable, and reusable applications following SOLID principles and established design patterns
• Drive architecture and technical decisions, ensuring solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and maintainability requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure successful feature delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex production and application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Establish and maintain coding standards, development guidelines, and quality practices across the team.
• Review pull requests and ensure adherence to code quality, security, performance, and maintainability standards.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application reliability and regression-free releases.
• Work with Azure DevOps/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices to streamline software delivery.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and technical debt reduction.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and scalability improvements.
• Stay current with emerging C#/.NET technologies, frameworks, development tools, and industry best practices.
• Take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery, from requirement analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
