Job summary

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, debugging, and documentation, integrating within a team that values diverse expertise to solve challenging engineering problems.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft .NET framework and UI tech (WPF/WinForms).
• Strong C++ and MFC knowledge is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of OO design and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns for UI apps.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, design, develop, modify, and deploy software components across the Windows stack.
• Write effective, reusable code following best practices.
• Perform unit tests, verification and validation of the code.
• Develop technical docs and handbooks to reflect design and code.
• Work as an individual contributor aligned with project priorities.

The candidate will be furnishing an individual contribution role in technical execution of project tasks. The purpose of this role is to execute medium to high complex project tasks to generate deliverables on-time with the right quality using defined processes, tools and standards

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, design, develop, modify, and deploy software components anywhere in the Windows software stack.
• Write effective and reusable code according to best practices
• Perform unit test, verification and validation of the code developed.
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
• Work as an individual contributor aligned with project priorities.

Work Experience

• Programming with Microsoft .Net, including (and not limited to) the understanding of Framework fundamentals, memory management, multi-threaded programming.
• Working experience with WPF and Win Form user interfaces.
• Experience with C++ and MFC is an added advantage.
• Must have solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design concepts & SOLID principles.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns – especially those applicable for user interfaces.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Hands on experience in multi-threaded programming, IPC and debugging skills.
• Knowledge in design patterns, gRPC, Protobuf, unit testing framework and code analysis tools.
• Experience in memory dump analysis.
• Experience working on large codebases.
• Experience in troubleshooting Win32 SDK API.
• Experience with Test Driven Development is an added advantage.

Desired Skills

• Desired WinDbg skills to debug
• Experience or willingness to work in other programming languages.
• Good to have Semiconductor domain experience.
• Should be ready to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
