JOB DESCRIPTION LIFE INSURANCE EXECUTIVE – DIRECT SALES

Experience: 1+ Year in Life Insurance / Insurance Industry

Role: 75% Sales | 25% Operations

Qualification: BQP Qualified – Mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with customers/prospects from the provided database and understand their insurance and financial protection needs.
• Drive direct sales by recommending and selling the appropriate Life Insurance products based on customer requirements.
• Achieve assigned monthly sales and business targets.
• Explain product features, benefits, premiums, policy terms and key conditions clearly.
• Manage the complete sales journey from customer interaction to policy issuance.
• Follow up with customers for documentation, medicals, payments and policy issuance.
• Coordinate with insurers and internal teams for pending requirements and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales and policy data in CRM/Excel.
• Ensure proper post-sales customer servicing and relationship management.

Required Skills

• 1+ year experience in Life Insurance / Insurance Industry.
• BQP qualification is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of Life Insurance products such as Term, Savings, ULIP, Retirement/Pension and other relevant products.
• Excellent communication, convincing and customer-handling skills.
• Strong direct sales, negotiation and conversion skills.
• Good MS Excel skills – VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters and basic formulas.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
• Target-oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
• Working knowledge of CRM and insurer portals.
