Talent Progress is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to oversee drafting, review and negotiation of commercial contracts, consultancy agreements, MoUs and NDAs for infrastructure projects in Mumbai.
You will advise business teams on regulatory and contractual matters, manage litigation coordination with external counsel, and develop standardized templates and compliance frameworks across the organization. 8+ years post-qualification experience required.
Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, consultancy agreements, MoUs, NDAs, JV/consortium agreements, sub-consultancy agreements and other legal documents.
Provide legal support during bid submissions, contract negotiations and project execution to safeguard the organization's interests.
Advise business teams on contractual, commercial, regulatory and legal matters arising from consulting assignments.
Identify legal and contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Coordinate and manage litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution matters in consultation with external legal counsels.
Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, labour and other statutory laws and regulations.
Develop and standardize legal templates, contract management processes and compliance frameworks across the organization.
Conduct legal research and provide timely opinions on emerging legal and regulatory issues impacting the business.
Support the management team in strategic legal matters, policy formulation and governance initiatives.
Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal, commercial contracts and consulting related legal matters.
Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, consultancy contracts and project documentation.
Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, arbitration, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance.
Experience in handling legal matters related to infrastructure consulting, EPC, real estate or project development will be preferred.
Excellent drafting, analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.Role & responsibilities
