Job summary

Gateway Group in India seeks an in-house corporate lawyer to draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including MSA, NDA, SaaS, Licensing, DPA and vendor contracts, guiding cross-functional teams across jurisdictions.

You will provide practical legal advice on commercial, corporate and contractual matters, support GDPR, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and assist with M&A due diligence and governance.

Qualifications

• Provide legal advice on commercial, corporate and contractual matters.
• Support GDPR, data privacy and international regulatory requirements.
• Assist with M&A, legal due diligence and corporate governance.
• Support HR/employment legal matters, compliance and dispute management.
• Work closely with business and cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
• Use and manage CLM, document management and AI-assisted legal tools.

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant corporate/legal experience.
• Strong non-litigation and commercial contract experience.
• Experience with SaaS/IT/technology contracts is preferred.
• Good understanding of GDPR and international legal frameworks.
• Exposure to M&A and corporate governance.
• Strong communication, negotiation and commercial/business acumen.
• International stakeholder experience is an added advantage.
