• Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle including execution, renewals, and repository management.
• Drive standardization of templates, playbooks, and contracting processes.
• Support negotiations with customers, vendors, and business partners.
• Coordinate with external counsel and monitor legal proceedings.
• Assist in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters.

RoleOverview

Weare looking for a business-oriented legal professional with 7-8 years ofpost-qualification experience to provide legal support across commercialcontracting, legal advisory, risk management, compliance, and disputeresolution. The role requires strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, preferably within the automotive,manufacturing, OEM, or industrial sectors.

KeyResponsibilities

ContractManagement

• Draft,review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including supplier,service, procurement, NDA, MSA, technology, software, marketing,consulting, logistics, leasing, and related-party contracts.
• Providepractical legal advice on commercial transactions and identify legal andbusiness risks.
• Managethe end-to-end contract lifecycle, including execution, renewals,compliance tracking, and contract repository management.
• Drivestandardization of templates, playbooks, and contracting processes.
• Supportcontract negotiations with customers, vendors, suppliers, and businesspartners.
• Providelegal support to procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, HR, finance,sales, marketing, and corporate functions.
• Adviseon legal implications of business initiatives and strategic transactions.
• Supportimplementation of legal and compliance policies.
• Assistin handling litigation, arbitration, regulatory matters, and legalnotices.
• Coordinatewith external counsel and track legal proceedings.
• Supportdispute resolution and settlement discussions.

Compliance& Governance

• Ensurecompliance with applicable corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws.
• Supportlegal audits, compliance initiatives, and statutory record management.
• Monitorlegal developments and advise stakeholders on relevant changes.

Qualifications

• LL.B. from a recognizeduniversity.
• LL.M. or specialization inCorporate/Commercial Laws is preferred.

Experience

• 7-8 years ofpost-qualification experience in commercial contracting and legaladvisory.
• Experience in Automotive, OEM,Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial sectors preferred.
• Candidates from reputed MNCsor large Indian corporates will have an advantage.
• Contract drafting,negotiation, and risk assessment.
• Contract Lifecycle Management(CLM) tools and contract repositories.
