RoleOverview
Weare looking for a business-oriented legal professional with 7-8 years ofpost-qualification experience to provide legal support across commercialcontracting, legal advisory, risk management, compliance, and disputeresolution. The role requires strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, andnegotiating commercial agreements, preferably within the automotive,manufacturing, OEM, or industrial sectors.
KeyResponsibilities
ContractManagement
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including supplier, service, procurement, NDA, MSA, technology, software, marketing, consulting, logistics, leasing, and related-party contracts.
- Provide practical legal advice on commercial transactions and identify legal and business risks.
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including execution, renewals, compliance tracking, and contract repository management.
- Drive standardization of templates, playbooks, and contracting processes.
- Support contract negotiations with customers, vendors, suppliers, and business partners.
LegalAdvisory
- Provide legal support to procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, HR, finance, sales, marketing, and corporate functions.
- Advise on legal implications of business initiatives and strategic transactions.
- Support implementation of legal and compliance policies.
LitigationDispute Management
- Assist in handling litigation, arbitration, regulatory matters, and legal notices.
- Coordinate with external counsel and track legal proceedings.
- Support dispute resolution and settlement discussions.
ComplianceGovernance
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws.
- Support legal audits, compliance initiatives, and statutory record management.
- Monitor legal developments and advise stakeholders on relevant changes.
DesiredProfile
Qualifications
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- LL.M. or specialization in Corporate/Commercial Laws is preferred.
Experience
- 7-8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial contracting and legal advisory.
- Experience in Automotive, OEM, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial sectors preferred.
- Candidates from reputed MNCs or large Indian corporates will have an advantage.
