Role & responsibilities

• Draft and File petitions under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 in CMM/DM/CJM courts.
• To attend court hearings and get the orders as soon as possible.
• Connect with the duty magistrate/police, to fix up the physical possession dates and assist in taking possession of properties with the help of police and Magistrate/Banker.
• Manage legal cases related to recovery and handle physical possession under SARFAESI law.
• Make regular Visits banks to take relevant documents (required to be attached in the applications to CMM/CJM/DM).
• Make regular visits to banks to take new case assignments and provide updates on ongoing cases.
• Visit NPA (Non-Performing Asset) borrowers with the collection team to speed up recovery/compromise settlement.
• Understand the basic process of collections and NPA handling.
