Job summary

Hero Fincorp Ltd. seeks a qualified lawyer with 6–8 years of experience in handling litigations. The role involves SARFAESI notices, court filings, and drafting various legal notices across lines of business.

The candidate should be proficient in data handling and MS Office, especially MS Excel, with strong communication, time management and conflict resolution skills. This is an on-site role based in Jaipur, India.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• SARFAESI Issuance of Demand Notice, Possession Notice and related filings, including defending applications under Sec 17.
• Filing and processing of Court papers and notices with authorities.
• Drafting/ vetting of notices and insolvency or other legal notices across LOBs.
• Filing of executions petitions and managing process through courts and police.

Job description

Key Responsibilities -

• SARFAESI Issuance of Demand Notice, Possession Notice (issuance & publication), filing of Section 14 Applications, defending Securitization Applications filed by borrowers/third parties u/s 17, assisting in physical possession of properties, visiting Police and other authorities, visiting borrowers with collection team etc.
• Arrange for speedy disposal of repossessed properties /ensuring OTS with the Borrowers
• Drafting / Vetting of Loan Recall notices, Notices u/s 138 of NI Act or u/s 25 of Pass Act, Insolvency Notices, Other legal Notices (across LOBs).
• Filing of Executions Petition before concerned local Courts.
• Execution of (i) Court Notices through process server, (ii) Warrants of attachment through Court Bailiff, (iii) Warrant of Arrest through local Police etc.
• Attachment of borrower’s Bank Account and attachment of immovable properties through Execution process.
• Arrange for execution of BWs/NBWs issued in Sec. 138 NI Act matters.
• Attending Lok Adalats at local level.
• Maintaining Legal MISs and ensure to share Legal MIS with various stakeholders
• Procurement of documents from other departments, maintaining Legal Tracker for all in-hand tasks, liaising with external counsels/law firms and other authorities etc.
• Handling against litigation at location level. Handling borrower escalations and give general legal advisory

Eligibility Criteria for the Job -

Education - LL.B

Experience - 6-8 Years’ exp in handling Litigations

Skills & Competencies - Good proficiency in Data handling and MS Office (Specially MS Excel), Good communication skills, Time management & Conflict resolution
