Learning Management System Administrator

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: Through end of year

Insight Global is seeking a Sr LMS Specialist to join the team of one of our largest medical device clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and iterating on LMS documents and curricula, configuring system settings, and handling various integrations and connectors. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, a deep understanding of LMS and related systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. We are seeking candidates in India willing to work in US hours.

Must haves:

• Proven experience in managing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• MyLearning experience.
• Strong knowledge of Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience in managing and scheduling cronjobs.
• Basic understanding of database administration and management.
• Experience with SuccessFactors LMS administration.
• Experience in maintaining SuccessFactors Integration Center jobs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Flexibility to work in US Hours (CST/EST)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Work with the DBA team to support Database Refresh project tasks for Instance Refresh projects.
• Write and maintain Unix shell scripts to automate routine tasks and processes.
• Manage and schedule cronjobs to ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Administer SuccessFactors LMS, including user management, course setup, and reporting.
• Maintain SuccessFactors Integration Center jobs to ensure seamless data flow.
• Handle support tickets and provide timely resolutions to issues within SLA.
• Integrate upstream and downstream applications with learning systems.
• Support and handle various learning patches and yearly upgrades.
• Support and monitor the Data service file processing.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all database systems.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to database management, scripting, and learning systems.
