Job Title: SAP SuccessFactors LMS Consultant (3–7 Years)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) Consultant to design, configure, implement, and support the SuccessFactors Learning module for our organization/clients. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience across the full implementation lifecycle, strong functional knowledge of learning administration, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable HR technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end implementation of SuccessFactors LMS, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Configure core LMS components: curricula, programs, learning plans, item types, catalogs, learning history, certifications, and compliance tracking.
• Set up and manage LMS Admin functions — roles, permissions, connectors, domains, OU/LO structures, and security groups.
• Design and configure approval workflows, notifications, and assignment profiles.
• Build and maintain integration between LMS and other SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Compensation, Recruitment) as well as third-party systems (e.g., content providers, HRIS, payroll).
• Manage system upgrades, bi-annual release updates, and impact assessments.
• Perform data loads, data validation, and troubleshooting using import/export tools.
• Create and execute test scripts (unit, integration, UAT) and support defect resolution.
• Provide production support — incident resolution, root cause analysis, and enhancement requests.
• Partner with HR/L&D stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices to optimize learning processes.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and training documentation.
• Support Role-Based Permissions (RBP) setup relevant to LMS access and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SuccessFactors teams on integrated HR process solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System.
• Strong understanding of LMS configuration: Curriculum, Program, Item Type, Assignment Profiles, Approval Workflows, Learning Plans, and Compliance Management.
• Experience with LMS Admin, Connectors, OData/SFAPI, and Instance Sync.
• Knowledge of Role-Based Permissions (RBP) and Provisioning.
• Experience in full lifecycle implementation (build, test, deploy, and support/Hypercare).
• Familiarity with integration tools (Boomi, or middleware platforms) for LMS-to-third-party integrations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of other SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Compensation, Recruiting) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional project teams.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with automation/integration frameworks connecting SuccessFactors to external learning content providers (LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, etc.).
• Experience providing continuous improvement recommendations for HR process streamlining.
