Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial Engineering.
- Experience:
- 5-8 years in a similar role.
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining 5S systems.
- Experience in hazardous waste management and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in conducting audits and coordinating Kaizen events.
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Main Responsibilities
- 5S Implementation and Maintenance:
- Support the implementation of 5S standards across all departments.
- Conduct regular 5S audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Train employees on 5S principles and practices.
- Continuously improve 5S processes to ensure sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with all hazardous waste management regulations.
- Implement and ensure adherence to hazardous waste management procedures.
- Conduct audits of hazardous waste storage, handling, and disposal practices.
- Coordinate with EHS and other relevant departments for safe and compliant hazardous waste management.
- Coordinate and facilitate Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and track action plans from Kaizen events.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of Kaizen initiatives.
- Training and Development:
- Identify areas for improvement and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
- Provide training to employees on waste management and continuous improvement tools.
- Support the development of training materials and programs to enhance Lean capabilities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, SCM, EHS, Admin, Housekeeping, Security, and Hazardous Waste Yard Management teams.
- Ensure Lean initiatives align with organizational goals.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among different departments.
