Job summary

Auma in Bengaluru is seeking a Process Excellence professional to lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, analyze data, and drive improvements across shopfloor operations. You will collect KPIs, perform RCA with 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, and FMEA, and develop dashboards to monitor SQDIC metrics.

You will manage cross-functional Kaizen workshops, 5S, SMED, OEE, and standard work, collaborating with the Germany team to implement best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Lean/Six Sigma deployments in manufacturing.
• Ability to perform RCA using 8D, Ishikawa, and FMEA.
• Proven track record in driving OEE and process standardization.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Process Analysis & Data-Driven Decision Making

• Analyze existing processes: Collect and evaluate production & related data, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and operator feedback to identify inefficiencies in shopfloor, performance variations, and bottlenecks.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Facilitate problem-solving sessions using tools like 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagrams, and FMEA to uncover the core causes of issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Performance Tracking: Develop and monitor operational dashboards to track SQDIC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost) metrics and evaluate the impact of process changes.
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.

Lean Deployment & Operational Excellence

• Lean Improvement Initiatives: Drive Lean/Six Sigma programsincluding 5S, Standard Work, SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) and Takt-time analysis.
• Facilitate Kaizen Events: Plan and lead cross-functional workshops and Kaizen events to promote a zero-defect mindset and continuous waste reduction.
• Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE): Drive OEE improvements to maximize asset utilization, streamline material flow, and improve Overall Labor Effectiveness.
• Project Management: Overseeing timelines, resource allocation, and budget management to execute specific business goals.
• Interact with Auma Germany team & implement best practices.

Change Management & Training

• Drive Culture: Act as a catalyst for change, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels (from operators to senior leadership.
• Capability Building: Coach, mentor, and train frontline staff and supervisors on CI tools, Lean fundamentals, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Standardization: Develop, update, and govern Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and visual management systems to ensure consistency and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred. (Added Advantage)
