Overview
The Lead Specialist - Process Excellence will support the deployment of Process Excellence initiatives across the organization by driving process documentation, process mapping, risk assessments, continuous improvement programs, and governance activities. The role requires strong analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, along with a willingness to support administrative and event management activities undertaken by the Process Excellence team.

Responsibilities:
Process Documentation & Governance
- Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Ensure documentation complies with organizational standards, version control requirements, and review cycles.
- Work with process owners and stakeholders to gather information and validate process documentation.
- Support process governance, compliance tracking, and documentation audits.
Process Mapping & Analysis
- Create and maintain end-to-end process maps using Microsoft Visio.
- Conduct current-state and future-state process mapping exercises.
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops to understand and document business processes.
PFMEA & Risk Management
- Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for business processes.
- Identify process risks, root causes, controls, and mitigation actions.
- Calculate and monitor Risk Priority Numbers (RPNs) and track closure of recommended actions.
- Support process reviews and risk assessments to improve operational effectiveness.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support data collection, analysis, root cause analysis, and solution implementation.
- Assist in monitoring benefits realization and sustaining improvements.
- Support training and awareness initiatives related to process excellence methodologies.
Administrative & Event Management Support
- Coordinate Process Excellence team activities, meetings, workshops, and governance reviews.
- Support planning and execution of employee engagement activities, training programs, certification events, town halls, and recognition programs.
- Manage logistics, communication, tracking, and reporting for Process Excellence events.
- Maintain dashboards, trackers, calendars, reports, and other administrative records.
- Support leadership reporting, newsletter preparation, and ad hoc Process Excellence initiatives.
About you
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Quality Management, or related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (Mandatory).
- Additional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Quality, or Business Process Management will be an advantage.
Experience Required:
- 4-8 years of experience in Process Excellence, Operational Excellence, Quality, Continuous Improvement, or related functions.
- Hands-on experience in:
- SOP documentation and governance
- Process mapping using Microsoft Visio
- PFMEA/FMEA execution
- Process improvement projects
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in administrative coordination and event management is preferred.
