Job summary

Gallagher in Mumbai is hiring for Trainee/Advisor and Senior Advisor roles within Gallagher Re to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant handling of client financial and operational instructions.

The role emphasizes meticulous document handling, stakeholder communication, and adherence to regulatory standards while supporting global clients from a local center of excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing and reporting.
• Clear client communication and proactive follow-up on instructions.
• Experience with financial processing and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of reinsurance operations and related regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Process client figures into internal systems in line with KPIs, SLAs, and contractual terms.
• Acknowledge and action client instructions promptly and communicate key updates.
• Follow up on accounts and claims due from clients.
• Manage cash call instructions and align with market timelines.
• Keep the workflow system updated with dates, comments, and status.
• Understand client business needs and operational requirements.
• Track unpaid items and collection status and take action as needed.
• Liaise with Bureau markets and Xchanging offices for account signing.
• Follow internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Store correspondence and supporting documents in e-filing/processing systems.
• Support Account and Settlement teams to ensure secure handling of client monies.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Client Service Advocates to meet client needs.
• Deliver performance against accuracy, quality, and turnaround targets.
