Gallagher in India seeks an experienced IT Business Analyst to bridge Technology and business units from Pune. You will lead requirements gathering, define scope, and propose automation using new or existing technology.

You will analyze data, support decision makers with insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes. A University degree and 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred. This role fosters growth and global delivery impact.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

Specializes in acting as the primary interface between Technology and specific business areas. Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirements gathering, and defines scope and objectives. Makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology. Specializes in the evaluation of business problems and potential for automated solutions.

• Assists in identifying, evaluating and specification development for systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet requirements.
• Executes unit, integration and acceptance testing for systems that meet business needs.
• Analyzes business reporting, systems data, and relevant performance data to provide business and IT leaders insights to support decision making
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements, systems integration, and technology solutions that address business partner's needs
• CAREER: Applies advanced knowledge of sub-function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Managing products, systems and/or projects/processes, and working independently with limited supervision.
• Facing IT function related problems that are sometimes difficult and moderately complex.
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
