Job Title – Lead QA Engineer
The FFIO (Fidelity Fund and Investment Operation) Technology teams manage applications that provide accounting and investment management support to Asset Management business functions within Fidelity Investments. The products within FFIO include Positions, Cash management, NAV, Shareholder reporting, Performance and Attributions, Tax, Data and Advisory Services. As part of the Quality Chapter team we require a SDET/full‑stack developer with 6+ years of experience, primarily responsible for high‑quality development to meet project/business needs. The role requires interaction with technologists, BA, architects as well as with business.

Technical
- Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing automated test scripts
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Java, Python and Cypress
- Ability to define and build Test/Automation strategies/Plans
- Strong in SQL and database
- Able to build and contribute at framework level
- Able to provide on‑call (Prod) support
- Experience with automated application build, deployment, and support using Maven and Ant
- Experience with version control and continuous integration of build, deploy, and test using Jenkins, Stash
- Experience in API development
- Experience in framework development and maintenance
- Experience working with AWS is a big plus!
- Experience as a developer (e.g., Java, Spring) – a plus

How Your Work Impacts The Organization
Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) provides accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and mutual fund shareholders. You will play a key role in an important initiative for FFIO with the goal to increase production stability by increasing automation coverage of critical business features using our own Test API framework based on Java and Selenium. Your role will be the lead development and maintenance of automation solutions and influence the squad to contribute to overall coverage. Your role will also actively lead and contribute to the day‑to‑day planning, setup, and execution of end‑to‑end business flows in a non‑production environment.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related subject
- 6+ years of experience in information technology
- Financial services experience preferred
