Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead with expertise in Functional Automation testing to join our dynamic team. As a member of the Digital team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of in-house developed applications, leveraging your strong background in software quality assurance.

Job Title: Senior Engineer

Years of Experience: 5-8 Years

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement meetings to gather and clarify testing needs.
• Develop and execute performance and automation functional test plans per release strategy and test cases to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our applications.
• Perform thorough testing of Power BI reports to ensure data accuracy, visual appeal, and functionality.
• Develop and maintain functional and automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, BDD Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional technology teams using Agile methodology.
• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria to validate requirements at the earliest stage of the development process.
• Design and execute new feature and regression tests, both manual and automated, to support the release of features.
• Organize and carry out testing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide expertise in test automation and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Transform complex business logic into SQL or PL SQL queries for data validation.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in testing within an Agile lifecycle.
• Proven experience in functional testing and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in MSSQL for data validation and manipulation.
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Experience in coding with Python, Java, or Javascript using Selenium.
• Experience with test management tools, preferably Azure DevOps or Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner.
• Ability to maintain automation test frameworks.
• Experience in non-functional testing.
• Experience in database skills required for data migration testing and test data creation using SQL Server Management Studio or Oracle Developer.
• Knowledge of Chartio and techniques.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or any other Engineering field with 5-8 years of experience.
• ISTQB or similar certification.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
