Job summary

SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA in Bengaluru is seeking a senior Java developer with deep CALYPSO expertise to drive end-to-end implementation across platforms and interfaces. You will lead complex backoffice configurations, settlement workflows, and interfaces, while mentoring teammates and collaborating with product owners.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and ability to thrive in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Should have 9+ years of Java development experience with at least 6+ years of CALYPSO experience.
• Hands-on CALYPSO Backoffice, Message setup, workflow, settlement (SWIFTS), accounting, settlement instructions, payment, BO positions, and customization around CALYPSO.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets: securities including corporate actions, money market, foreign exchange, listed and OTC derivatives.
• Analytical, able to troubleshoot, and possess good communication; agile environment exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end CALYPSO implementation across modules and interfaces.
• Train new joiners and teams; liaise with Product Owner and stakeholders.
• Define specifications and user stories from business requirements.
• Ensure deliverables meet time, cost, and project plan.
• Improve testing strategy and contribute to QA activities.
