Job summary

RingCentral in Bengaluru is seeking a certified Salesforce Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to SOX, GDPR and data privacy regulations. You will review practices, policies and configurations to identify non-compliance and propose modifications.

Your responsibilities include developing and implementing compliance programs, monitoring activities, and providing on-site support for issues arising from these initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 8–12 years of Salesforce admin experience.
• Familiarity with User Access Review process for Salesforce.
• Experience with SOX/GDPR compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Salesforce compliance with SOX, GDPR and data privacy laws.
• Develop, implement and monitor compliance programs and policies.
• Provide on-site support for issues arising from compliance initiatives.
• Keep abreast of emerging industry practices and apply them to Salesforce.

Job description

Job Description: We are looking for a certified and experienced Salesforce professional who will act as our organization’s Salesforce Compliance Specialist ensuring that we are in compliance with existing (and possibly new) industry’s laws and regulations such as SOX Compliance, GDPR, EU Data Privacy and many more. With this role, you are expected to examine practices, processes and policies and identify areas of non-compliance and provide suggestions or recommendations on how to make necessary modifications.

You are also expected to support the development and implementation of any compliance programs/projects, policies and practices of the organization. You will also be responsible for monitoring all activities associated with these rules and expected to provide immediate and onsite support to issues arising from these implementations.

Part of your role is to keep yourself abreast of emerging industry practices when solving business problems as this job requires creative thinking beyond the boundaries of current industry practices and stakeholder mindset.

To be selected for this role, you are expected to have extensive experience in handling these configuration areas in Salesforce:

• Roles and Profiles
• Permission Sets
• Sharing Rules, Groups and Queues
• User Management, Provisioning and Deprovisioning
• Deployments and Implementations
• Automations
• Applications (Managed package, Connected Apps)

In order to succeed in this role, you must:

• Be able to identify critical issues with ease
• Be able to quickly understand the functional and data requirements of our internal clients
• Review requirements, provide recommendations related to proposed solutions
• Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements
• Detail oriented and organized

Requirements:

• Familiarity with User Access Review process for Salesforce
• Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in IT or any similar field
• 8 to 12 years of experience as a Salesforce admin professional
• Work setup is hybrid (3 days a week from the Bengaluru office)

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Salesforce Archiving tool
• Experience with with Atlassian Suite, in particular Jira and Confluence
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
