Job summary

A networking solutions provider based in Maharashtra seeks an experienced network engineer to design, implement, and support advanced network solutions. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of routing protocols, experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, and strong leadership skills. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field along with relevant certifications is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving abilities and familiarity with ITIL frameworks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of current experience with 4 years in hands-on roles.
• Relevant certifications like CCNP, CCIE, CISSP PCNSE are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• In depth knowledge of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and RIP
• Hands on experience (Expert level) of Routing & Switching on vendor devices Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix and Cisco ACI
• Extensive hands on knowledge of Multi-Pod and Multi-Site ACI design, implementation, and support, Tenant constructs, Application network profiles, Contracts, Fabric access policies, extensions & Routing and policies
• Working knowledge of Citrix and F5 load Balancer products.
• Will provide level 2 support as the final point of escalation and run with issues until the point of resolution.
• Supporting in rotation shifts plus 24/7 On Call support when needed.
• Troubleshooting traffic flows via underlay and overlay
• Design and implement advanced network solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues.
• Configure and optimize Cisco AAA servers.
• Manage and secure Cisco Next Gen Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Oversee the deployment and management of Citrix Load Balancers.
• Implement and manage Cisco ACI & SDN solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the network team.
• Ability to assist with incident investigations through to timely resolution.
• Forward planning and ability to manage non-complex implementations.
• Excellent analytical & interpretive skills.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and standards.
• Good Knowledge of ITIL framework and Service management.
