Mphasis Ltd in Bengaluru (Bangalore) / Hyderabad seeks a senior Infrastr Engineer to lead application packaging efforts and manage project teams for secure, compliant deployments across Windows platforms, Citrix, and VDI environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with packaging lifecycle management, documentation, and mentorship, with willingness to support night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Windows application packaging.
• Experience with MSI packaging using AdminStudio.
• Experience with App-V Sequencer for application virtualization.
• Knowledge of Numecent Cloud Paging (CP Packaging).
• Hands-on experience in App-V and Citrix environments.
• Packaging and troubleshooting across Windows platforms (Win7/10/Server/VDI).
• Proficient in PowerShell & VBScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging projects and manage packaging lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing and deployment across platforms.
• Maintain deployment documentation and runbooks.
• Support incidents, problems, and change management.

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad

Who are we looking for?

A senior level Application Packaging engineer to manage a project for one of our clients. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in administration of team and shift.

Technical Skills

• Minimum 6 years of Experience in Application Packaging on Windows
• Experience in MSI Application packaging using Adminstudio
• Experience in application virtualization using Microsoft App-v Sequencer
• Good to have knowledge of Numecent Cloud Paging (CP Packaging)
• Hands on experience in App-V environment
• Good Knowledge on Citrix Environment
• Exposure & experience in Packaging and troubleshooting applications across all the platforms (Win 7/10/Server & VDI’s)
• Excellent process knowledge and lifecycle Management of the packaging & deployment Participate in testing and successful deployment of software to all applicable supported platforms.
• Hands on experience in PowerShell & VB Scripting
• Create and maintain documentation for deployment/packaging, administrative procedures, architecture, known errors, workarounds and application specific information.
• Experience in Incident, Problem and Change Management process
• Good to have: Experience in Application Deployment using APPV Management console (virtualized application) for Physical & Virtual environments.
