Job summary

Infosys Limited in Hyderabad seeks an Application Packaging Engineer to design and maintain Windows packaging pipelines. You will create MSI/MSIX/APP-V packages, build transforms, and generate deployment scripts for enterprise apps.

You will deploy via SCCM/MECM and Intune, perform compatibility testing, and troubleshoot issues across Windows environments while collaborating with owners and infrastructure teams to meet security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application packaging.
• Experience with Windows packaging, deployment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Package and repackage desktop applications using MSI, MSIX, APP-V and related technologies.
• Create and customize installation packages, transforms (MSTs), and deployment scripts.
• Deploy and manage applications through SCCM/MECM and Intune.
• Perform application compatibility testing and validation across Windows environments.
• Troubleshoot installation, deployment and packaging issues.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate packaging tasks.
• Coordinate with owners, infrastructure teams and stakeholders to gather packaging requirements.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance and governance standards.
• Manage application upgrades, patches and version control.
• Maintain packaging documentation and deployment procedures.
