Job summary

UST is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to drive end-to-end testing across multiple applications. The role focuses on API and database validation, automation using Katalon Studio and Playwright, and coordinating onsite-offshore testing efforts.

The candidate will design test strategies, estimate efforts, mentor junior team members, and ensure defect resolution with root-cause analysis in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Lead QA activities across applications and ensure end-to-end testing coverage.
• Prepare test strategies, plans, estimates, and test cases from business requirements.
• Execute Functional, Integration, System, Regression, E2E, API, and Automation testing.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Katalon and Playwright.
• Perform database validation with SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Validate complex transaction processing workflows and mitigate defects.
• Mentor junior QA team members and coordinate onsite/offshore testing.
• Review test artifacts and drive quality improvements.
