Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of HRBP experience supporting Technology and Product teams.
• Strong executive coaching, talent management, and change management capabilities.
• Hands-on HRIS experience and comfort with data/analytics to guide decisions.
• Familiarity with modern software product cycles and AI tool impacts on developers.

Responsibilities

Position Title: Lead HRBP - Tech & Product

Location: Bangalore (Cambridge Rd, Ulsoor)

Reports To/Type : People & Culture Leader | Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Partnership & AI Readiness

• Partner with Technology and Product leadership to align workforce strategy with evolving business goals and tech roadmaps.
• Guide leadership on org design and headcount planning as roles shift toward AI-assisted development and automated workflows.
• Drive people initiatives in the Technology division to foster high performance, business agility, and strong team culture.

Talent Management & Role Evolution

• Collaborate with talent acquisition teams to attract and hire key technical and product talent.
• Adapt hiring criteria and role architectures as technical skill sets evolve with modern tools and AI productivity capabilities.
• Facilitate succession planning, internal mobility, and structured career pathways across engineering and product disciplines.

Coaching & Mentoring

• Serve as a trusted coach to managers and leaders, building leadership capability around team management, empathy, and decision-making.
• Mentor employees to support continuous growth, resilience, and adaptability during organizational and technology shifts.
• Proactively resolve workplace conflicts, provide HR guidance, and foster an environment of open communication and trust.

Performance Management

• Guide teams through goal setting, continuous feedback cycles, and performance evaluations.
• Help managers identify performance gaps and establish fair, transparent measures to drive accountability.
• Promote a continuous improvement culture focused on clear outcomes and agile execution.

Learning & Development

• Partner with L&D to identify core skill gaps across tech teams and deploy targeted training programs.
• Support upskilling initiatives that enable engineers and product managers to effectively leverage modern developer tools and AI capabilities.
• Foster a learning culture grounded in continuous upskilling and cross-functional knowledge sharing.

Change Management & Digital Transformation

• Lead people initiatives related to organizational changes, team realignments, and dynamic growth phases.
• Support teams through process transitions and technical shifts, minimizing friction and maintaining engagement.
• Drive clear communication strategies to align teams during periods of structural change.

HR Metrics & People Analytics

• Utilize HR metrics, reporting platforms, and data analytics to inform decision-making and track program success.
• Monitor key indicators such as turnover, engagement trends, hiring velocity, and capability ramp-up.
• Deliver data-backed insights to refine retention strategies and optimize people operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in an HRBP role, directly supporting Technology and Product organizations.
• Core Competencies: Demonstrated experience in executive coaching, talent management, change management, and organizational design.
• Tooling & Analytics: Hands-on experience using HRIS platforms, workplace software, and modern data/analytics tools to guide decisions.
• Domain Understanding: Working familiarity with modern software product cycles and how emerging tech/AI tools impact developer roles.
