Job Description

Role: Lead – HR Operations

Experience - 8 to 10 years

Manager HR operations will be responsible for leading the delivery, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement of HR operational processes across the GCC.

The role ensures efficient, compliant, and employee‑centric HR service delivery while establishing strong process controls, governance mechanisms, and operational excellence standards that support the GCC's growth and maturity.

The role will also play a key part in building scalable HR operational frameworks, strengthening compliance and audit readiness, and supporting the organization's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Operations & Service Delivery: Lead end‑to‑end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle management, documentation, payroll coordination, leave & attendance management, HR data management, and HR systems administration. Ensure timely, accurate, and seamless delivery of HR operational services. Act as the primary escalation point for complex HR operational issues. Establish and monitor service levels (SLAs) to drive operational excellence. Build scalable HR operational processes and service delivery models that support the evolving needs of a growing GCC.
  • Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Establish governance, review mechanisms, and operational controls across all HR processes. Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, company policies, and audit requirements. Lead HR compliance activities by maintaining statutory compliance calendars and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal governance requirements. Plan, coordinate, and manage internal and external HR audits, ensuring audit readiness through robust documentation, timely closure of audit observations, and implementation of corrective actions. Monitor regulatory changes and drive implementation of relevant process updates. Identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks.
  • Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Drive process standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Leverage technology and digital tools to improve efficiency and employee experience. Monitor service quality and operational performance through defined metrics and dashboards.
  • Data, Reporting & Insights: Ensure integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of employee data and HR records. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports. Generate insights and recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and decision‑making.
  • GCC Capability Building: Build scalable HR operational frameworks to support GCC growth. Drive post‑entity creation HR operational initiatives, including implementation of HR policies, statutory registrations, HR compliance frameworks, HRIS setup and optimisation, payroll governance, employee documentation, and operational readiness. Establish and continuously enhance HR operating models, SOPs, SLAs, and governance mechanisms to support business growth and operational maturity. Reduce dependency on individual resources through process standardisation, documentation, cross‑training, and knowledge management practices. Partner with HRBPs, COEs, Finance, IT, and global stakeholders to deliver a consistent employee experience and strengthen operational governance. Drive a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the HR function.
Experience

8–12 years of progressive HR Operations experience.

Experience in a Global Capability Center (GCC), Shared Services, or a fast‑growing organization is preferred.

Hands‑on experience in HR compliance, statutory requirements, governance, and internal/external HR audits.

Experience in setting up or scaling HR Operations, particularly during post‑entity creation or organisational growth phases, will be highly preferred.
